Young English girl, Elise, spent her holidays in France. She is very annoyed by father new wife and she feels dull at hot dusty French countryside. Elise’s father wants her to share his interest in local history. Daughter not very exited by her father ideas at first. But later she starts to see children’s ghosts from another time. After she meets strange boy Stefan that seems to be very afraid of something in the town. One time trying to escape from heat in cool local church, she found herself in the past. There she founds Jewish children who are trying to hide from Gestapo.
